Overview

Moiki.ru is a digital platform designed to streamline the car wash industry by replacing outdated queue systems with a precise, real-time booking engine. The project bridges the gap between car owners seeking convenience and business owners aiming for operational efficiency. While currently in the development phase, the design is fully realized, offering a sophisticated ecosystem that handles the entire service cycle from discovery to financial reporting.

My role

As the Product Designer, I was responsible for the end-to-end design process, from initial logic and service architecture to the final UI of both the client-facing and administrative applications. My goal was to create a functional, high-trust environment that adheres to the latest system standards.

The Challenge

The primary objective was to transform a traditionally chaotic process into a predictable, high-end service. I had to design a system that could handle high-velocity booking data while remaining intuitive for users on the go. A significant part of the challenge was creating a professional "Admin Mode" that provides business owners with deep analytical insights and bay management tools without overwhelming the mobile interface.

The Process

Phase 1: Product Logic and User Foundation

The first phase focused on building a reliable user database and vehicle management system. I designed a high-speed onboarding flow that captures essential data — such as vehicle class and license plates to automate service pricing and slot duration. This architectural foundation ensures that every interaction within the app is personalized to the user's specific car, eliminating the need for manual input during the booking process.

Phase 2: Client Side and Booking Flow

The core consumer experience is built around a map-centric discovery flow. I developed a modular service selection interface that allows users to quickly compare different wash types, from maintenance cleaning to professional detailing. The booking journey is optimized for speed, featuring an interactive scheduling system with real-time slot availability. The final confirmation state acts as a functional hub, providing immediate access to navigation and communication tools to ensure the user arrives on time.

Phase 3: Contextual States and Edge Cases

To ensure a premium feel, I focused heavily on "system intelligence"—the app’s ability to respond to changing conditions. This involved designing a comprehensive set of contextual notifications and feedback loops. Whether it is a successful booking, a late-arrival reminder, or a service cancellation, the interface uses clear, non-intrusive visual cues to keep the user informed. These states were designed to prevent user anxiety and ensure the app remains helpful even when plans change.

Phase 4: Business Administration and Analytics

The final phase was the development of a robust "Business Mode" for wash station owners and staff. This dedicated interface provides a bird’s-eye view of the facility's operations, including bay-by-bay scheduling and employee management. I designed a specialized reporting module that tracks revenue and performance metrics, allowing owners to monitor their business health in real-time. This transforms the app from a simple booking tool into a comprehensive ERP solution for the car care industry.

Results

The entire design phase, covering both the client and administrative ecosystems, was completed within a single month. The product is built in strict accordance with iOS 26 guidelines, ensuring a native, future-proof experience. By focusing on a clean, high-contrast visual language and a rock-solid UX structure, I delivered a production-ready blueprint that balances commercial utility with a superior user experience.
